Perinatal Work

I specialise in working with clients in the transition to parenthood, offering a safe space to explore and address a range of issues that may arise during the perinatal period.

Some of things that may arise include, but are not limited to:

  • Fertility struggles

  • Identity issues around motherhood

  • Adapting to parenthood

  • Managing new siblings/parenting for the second time

  • Antenatal/postnatal depression and/or anxiety

  • Attachment/bonding difficulties

  • Couple dynamics

  • The surfacing of your own experiences of being parented and difficult early experiences

  • Dealing with loss (terminations, stillborns, TFMR)

  • Birth trauma

  • Fear of giving birth (tokophobia)

Please see my main page for details on fees and booking an initial session.

As well as offering one-to-one talking therapy, my work with parents extends to facilitating and coordinating a groups for women in the perinatal period. Details are shared via my instagram channel @_mothermother_
